Omega "Jumbo" Reference 2325 (1944): A Testament to Timeless Elegance
Step back into the rich history of watchmaking with the vintage Omega "Jumbo" Reference 2325, a remarkable timepiece crafted in the pivotal year of 1944. This exquisite watch, with its impressive 37mm diameter, excluding the crown offers the perfect combination of vintage charm and modern proportions.

A Harmony of Size and Style
In an era when watch sizes were typically more conservative, the Omega "Jumbo" Reference 2325 was a bold statement. Its 37mm case size set it apart, offering a substantial presence on the wrist that is as striking today as it was in the 1940s. The watch's substantial size, combined with its refined design, would make it a standout piece in any collection or the perfect addition for those looking for something unique.

Two-Tone Salmon Dial: A Rare Beauty
The dial of this Omega "Jumbo" is where its charm truly lies. The two-tone salmon color is both rare and captivating, offering a play of hues that change subtly under different lighting conditions. This distinct color, coupled with the elegant layout of the dial, creates a visual allure that is both unique and timeless.

Powered by the Renowned Calibre 30T2SC
At the heart of this watch beats the Omega manual wind calibre 30T2SC. The Omega calibre 30T2SC is a storied movement, renowned within watchmaking circles for its robustness and precise timekeeping. Introduced in the late 1930s, it became one of the most reliable movements produced by Omega, especially noted for its performance during World War II.

The 'SC' in its name denotes 'seconde centrale' (central second), an evolution from the sub-second design that preceded it. Operating at a frequency of 18,000 beats per hour, this manually-wound caliber was ahead of its time in terms of durability and was a favorite among servicemen for its straightforward maintenance and resistance to the rigors of active duty. The calibre 30T2SC remains a highlight of Omega’s early 20th-century engineering prowess.

A Piece of History from 1944
The Omega "Jumbo" Reference 2325 is not just a watch; it's a historical artifact. Made in 1944, during a time of global change and challenge, it represents the resilience and enduring craftsmanship of the Omega brand. This watch is a bridge between the past and the present, offering its wearer a tangible connection to a bygone era.

Embrace the Legacy

For the discerning individual who appreciates the elegance of vintage design and the craftsmanship of classic watchmaking, the Omega "Jumbo" Reference 2325 is an impeccable choice. It's a watch that speaks volumes through its subtlety and size, perfect for those who seek a distinctive piece with a story to tell.

Consider how we've priced it given the same reference was sold a while back at the famed Hodinkee for $4,900 (we like to think our example is alot nicer too!) and it gives even more reason to add this to your collection. Don't hang around though, you won't be the only one considering snapping this beauty up!

Condition Report: Presented in overall good vintage condition. The dial has taken on the most gorgeous patina and remains largely in excellent condition. There are some slightly more noticable marks on the right of the dial but nothing that detracts from its beauty. The case remains sharp and in great condition having previously been polished. The movement has just received a fresh service and finally the watch is fitted with a 3rd party strap.
