The Oyster Date Line - Date Functionality Meets Oyster Protection
The Reference 6694 debuted during an iconic era for Rolex. Having already revolutionized waterproofness in the 1920's with the Oyster case, Rolex would go onto launch the Oysterdate in the 1950s.

The 6694, would come later in the early 1960s and became a cornerstone of the Oysterdate family. It remained in production for nearly three decades, solidifying its position as a reliable and timeless classic. Unlike its flashier counterparts, the 6694 embraced a more understated approach, becoming known as the "workhorse Rolex" for its dependable function and enduring design. Even after its discontinuation in the late 1980s, the 6694 continues to be a sought-after piece by collectors.
