Early iterations like the 6094 and 6294 sported dauphine hands and roulette date wheels, while later models like the 1983 Oysterdate 6694 you see here, embraced a more streamlined aesthetic. This specific watch captures the essence of the 6694's enduring popularity.

A Legacy of Understated Elegance:
The Oysterdate 6694 carved its niche by embracing simplicity. Its 34mm case houses a classic black dial adorned with applied gilt baton markers and discreet minute markers. The addition of a cyclops magnification lens over the date aperture in later models like this 1983 example, was a subtle yet functional improvement. Powered by the reliable Calibre 1225 movement, this Rolex is as reliable as it is timeless.

The hands are later replacements closer matched to the dial than the photos would suggest. The case remains in good condition. The bracelet remains in good shape and will fit wrists upto 17cm. The movement is just back from a full service.
