Breitling Navitimer 806, Circa 1966

The iconic Breitling Navitimer with the 'Twin Jet' dial design remains near the top of any vintage watch collectors list, so now is your chance to pick up this Breitling Navitimer 806 from circa 1966!

The watch was first introduced in 1954 in collaboration with the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA). The watch remains in production today as part of the brand's contemporary lineup, solidifying its timeless & legendary status. This watch is an example of when Breitling switched the watch's design in the 1960s; originally, before the watches were even issued a reference number, the Navitimer featured a fully black dial & a beaded bezel. The switch in the 60s saw a change to a Venus calibre 178 movement and Breitling began to expand the offering with metal choices, such as the gold plate you can see on this beautiful example.

This watch would be a staple in any vintage aviation watch collectors portfolio. Similarly, if you are just a vintage watch collector or a first-time buyer, this watch will undoubtedly make a stunning addition to anyone's collection!

Condition: Very clean condition throughout, case has taken on pleasing patina on the case sides. The dial is in mint condition, although it has possibly been previously refreshed. Fitted with a third-party leather strap.
