A lovely example of the iconic Breitling Navitimer reference 806.

This Mark 6 example of the Navitimer 806 oozes vintage charm with its "Twin Jet" dial having taken on a lovely, even patina. Fitted with a soft leather Nato strap this watch transports you back to a time when watches were enjoyed for their form and function instead of their investment value.

First introduced in 1954 in collaboration with the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), the Navitimer model remains in production today.

This watch would be a staple in any vintage aviation watch collectors portfolio. Similarly, if you're just looking for a vintage watch with bundles of charm and and a great story to match, this could well be the watch for you!

This particular example is the highly sought after Mark 6 variant, which was the first to introduce color accents on dials and slide rules to help to locate the most widely used calculation points.

Of particular note is what has become known as the "Boxed 10," denoting the red boxes that appear around the slide rule's inner and outer number 10. It may be small but it adds a lovely subtle point of interest to the dial.
