The history of the Tank Louis Cartier begins in 1922 when the watch was first produced and named after the company's founder, Louis-François Cartier. Since then the Tank has become one of the world's most iconic due to its beautifully proportioned rectangular case and rounded angles. The watch creates the perfect balance of timeless design and functionality and it elegantly expresses an aesthetic that has not only endured for many generations but will always look as contemporary as the day it was conceived.
