A beautiful example of the second series of Grand Seiko, the 57GS aka the "self dater". This particular watch is a second iteration example from circa 1965 powered by the 5722A movement.
This example is in wonderful condition, with both the dial, case and movement in fantastic condition. As an added bonus it also comes with a Seiko strap and buckle!
Outside of Japan Grand Seiko is still a relatively under-appreciated brand. However with Grand Seiko launching internationally in 2010 and Seiko announcing in 2017 that Grand Seiko would become an entirely separate brand, we suspect this wont last for long!
