A stunning 18k gold IWC with attractive fancy lugs. Hailing from circa 1960, there's a lot to love with this vintage IWC; the timeless & understated design, the legendary calibre 8531 movement & the show-stealing 35mm, 18k case with fancy lugs. Complete with a green IWC box we're certain the next owner of this vintage gold IWC will enjoy it for many years to come.

The style of the dial is typical of the vintage IWCs of this period. Clean, simple, understated and elegant. Not to forget the silvery-white colour which has been referred to in the past as a ‘Moondust’ colour. The original Cal. 8531, 21 Jewel automatic movement fitted to this watch is part of a family of movements considered to be the best ever automatics produced by IWC, and therefore one of horology’s best of all time. The very high quality, heavyweight, 18ct Yellow Gold watch case measures 35mm in diameter, paired with exquisitely designed lugs. All in all, we can't find anything on this watch that could look or have been designed better.

    Overall the watch is in excellent shape. The dial may have been professionally refurbished in the past but remains very clean. The case also remains sharp with only minor scratches as expected for a watch of its age. The crown appears to be a later replacement. The movement is clean and running well and finally, the watch is fitted with a calf leather strap complete with an IWC buckle.
