This IWC Yacht Club, cased in stainless steel, is a great sporty option if you're looking for a vintage IWC with a slightly different take. The standout feature is the elegant 36mm barrel-shaped case that contains the legendary cal. 8541, making this watch not only elegant to look at but incredibly reliable.
The history behind the IWC Yacht Club
The Yacht Club was created in 1967 as a sportier alternative to the Ingenieur series by the International Watch Company (IWC). Following the Yacht Club's instant popularity in 1976, the line expanded into a series of "Club" watches. This 36-mm stainless steel has a beautiful barrel-shaped case, also known as a C-Shaped case. The automatic in-house calibre 8541 is used by IWC in these timepieces which features a clever shock-absorption system. Technical & Condition:
Overall in excellent condition. The dial remains clean and free from damage. The lume plots on the hands and dial match. The case remains exceptionally sharp for its age. The movement is in good order and the watch is fitted with a 3rd party leather strap in fair condition together with a steel IWC buckle.
