This is one of the first post-war consumer products that Omega made. They aimed to design and create watches that could withstand the barrage of everyday life, whilst also looking beautiful and elegant, and they succeeded; almost 70 years on this watch still looks amazing!
Condition wise the dial has taken on a pleasing, even patina. The case retains its original lines and whilst there are the usual age related scratches, overall its in good shape. The watch is powered by a serviced 15 jewel Omega manual movement from circa 1947, likely replacing the original movement earlier in its life. Finally the watch is fitted with a new leather strap.
