An excellent example of the Omega Seamaster 176.005 from circa 1972. Often mistakenly called "The Jedi" watch, the reference 176.005 is known among collectors as the "TV case" owning to the styling of the case which, unsurprisingly, is similar to boxy tv sets of the era.

Whilst its boxy, 42mm case looks fantastic, it also makes it very susceptible to damage. Today the majority of TV case Seamasters are pretty banged up - but not here! The case retains its sharp edges and the original combination of brushed and polished finishing offering a ones of the cleanest examples we've seen.

Watches from the 1970's are becoming some of the hottest designs in the vintage watch world right now and with this reference 176.005 its easy to see why. If you're looking for something a little different to add to your collection this sharp example is well worth considering.

Condition Report:

Presented in overall good vintage condition. The case remains sharp and in excellent shape for its age with only minor scratches throughout. The dial has taken on some ageing but remains in good overall shape. The calibre 1040 movement has just come back from a fresh service and finally the watch is fitted to an Omega reference 1098 bracelet that will fit wrists up to approximately 18.5cm.
