A fine and rare Omega Seamaster Yachting Ref. 176.010 with the automatic calibre 1040 movement. Considerably cheaper than its Heuer counterpart (and in our humble opinion - more attractive) the Omega Yachting perfectly blends form with function to make it ones of our favourite chrono watches.
From the attractive dark blue dial with accentuating pops of colour to the use of sunburst, polished and brushed finishes on the 43mm case, the Omega Seamaster Yachting Ref. 176.010 is one attractive watch.
Powered by the automatic calibre 1040 movement (which started life as a Lemania calibre 1340), running at 28,800bph it has a 44-hour power reserve, bidirectional winding system, KIF shock protection and 24-hours indicator at the 9 o'clock sub dial.
This watch comes with an Omega Extract from the Archives confirming production on the 30th November 1973 and delivery to France.
One of the rarest vintage Omega chronographs around, an example in this condition is sure to increase in value in the years to come.
