Rolex Datejust 1601 "No Lume" Dial, 1971

A stunning example of the Rolex Datejust 1601 from circa 1971, featuring a clean 36mm, stainless steel case in excellent vintage condition & a Jubilee bracelet, that will fit up to approximately 18cm wrists. This reference Rolex Datejust 1601 also features a rare "no lume" dial which further adds to the elegance of the watch.

As with almost everything regarding vintage Rolex wristwatches, there is no such thing as black and white! Case in point, normally when you see T SWISS T on the dial you would expect to find tritium lume on the dial and/or hands. However, turns out with some examples Rolex never applied the lume to the already printed dials leading to what some now call "no lume" T dials.

Condition & Notes:

• Case: Excellent vintage condition. Previously polished but retains excellent sharpness;
• Dial & Hands: Excellent overall condition. There is a small mark on the dial at 6 o'clock but its not overly noticeable when on the wrist;
• Crystal: Excellent; 
• Movement: Clean & fully serviced;
• Strap: Excellent vintage condition. Previously polished and tightened. Only minimal stretch for its age; 
• Box and Papers: Our Own.
