A mint condition Rolex Datejust reference 1603 from circa 1969. The Rolex Datejust is one of our favourite Rolex models; whilst vintage Daytona's Subs and GMT's get most of the attention, a vintage Datejust is hard to beat for its understated elegance and flexibility!
This particular example is in outstanding condition with a flawless dial, sharp case and immaculate movement. If you're looking for a vintage Datejust you'll be hard pushed to find one in nicer condition!
At 36mm the Rolex Datejust reference 1603 is perfectly sized for a vintage dress watch. The beauty of the Datejust is its flexibility; pair it up with a metal bracelet for the office or pair it down with a leather strap for the weekends - it looks great on both!
Finally, the 1603 is not only a great looking watch but also a reliable timekeeper. It's powered by the calibre 1570 chronometer grade automatic movement. A movement well regarded for its accuracy and robust design and like all our watches this example had received a full service.
