The Rolex Oyster, one of the most famous horological timepieces of the twentieth century, in a lovely early example. This stunning steel Rolex Oyster, reference 4499, was made in 1946 and features an attractive, minimalist dial as well as a recently serviced Rolex manual wind movement. Its 35mm diameter is perfect for men and women who want a more subtle look in their vintage timepieces.

The polished steel tonneau case features a screw-down back and crown. Overall this is a beautiful Rolex dress watch, appropriate for first-time Rolex buyers or dyed in the wool collectors!

Technical & Condition: 

Presented in overall fair condition. The dial was possibly refinished in the past. Overall it's in fair shape with patina present 11-2 and 5-6 on the outer edges of the dial. The case remains in fair shape for its age and the movement, which has just returned from service is clean and in good working order. Finally, the watch is fitted with a new, 3rd party leather strap.
