A stunning Breitling Top Time Ref. 810.3 with reverse panda dial.
Designed to appeal to a younger audience the Breitling Top Time was released in the same year as the Heuer Carrera. The three-register reference 810 features a 38mm diameter case, large for a chronograph of its time.
This larger size along with the beautiful proportions have made the 3 register Top Time a favourite among collectors, especially in reverse panda guise. Its attractive aesthetics are complemented by Breitling’s preferred movement for chronographs, the reliable Venus 178.
Condition wise, the dial is not only clean but also sports a pleasing aged lume. The case remains in decent shape with the case back writing still clearly visible (many examples on the market suffer from over-polishing in this area). As is common for this model the pushers have been replaced but sympathetically so. Finally the manual wind Venus 178 movement has received a full service.
All in all, an excellent example of a stunning and timeless watch that is sure to become harder and more expensive to find in the years to come. If you're thinking of buying a Breitling Top Time this one deserves your attention!
