Heuer Autavia 11630. An almost NOS (new old stock) example of the stunning Heuer Auativa reference 11630 with "orange boy" dial.
Photos really don't do justice to this immaculate and fully serviced Heuer Autavia. It's thick 42mm case and eye popping orange accents really give this vintage Autavia serious wrist presence!
The name Autavia comes from a combination of two words: Automotive & Aviation and was originally associated with dashboard clocks and instrumentation in automobiles and aircraft. Fast forward to the early 1960s and the Autavia name found a new home on Heuer wrist watches as part of Jack Heuer's vision to reboot the Heuer line of watches to focus on chronograph's.
Since its launch in 1962, the Autavia would go onto become one of goto chronographs for the racing community during the 1960's and 1970's. The watch you see here is a 1970's Autavia reference 11630 MH (the MH standing for minutes and hours scale on the bezel). It features a stunning black dial with orange accents, just enough to add some flair without being excessive!
Both the case, dial, hands, bezel and movement are all in exceptional condition for their age. The watch is fitted with a fully serviced automatic calibre 12 movement which is serviced and in absolutely immaculate condition.
If you're looking to add a vintage Autavia to your collection you will be hard pushed to find a nicer example, especially at the price we've listed it for!
