The Seamaster was first released in 1948 to mark Omega's 100th year of creating timeless timepieces, and it is still the brand's longest-running model. The brand say that the model is loosely based on the waterproof wristwatches developed for the British military at the close of World War II, the Seamaster was first designed as a sturdy yet stylish watch for active individuals who desired a watch for "town, sea, and country,". To say the Seamaster is one of our favourite models is an understatement!

After fifty-five years, this vintage watch still meets the description of being suitable for the active man about town. This 1966 version has a new leather strap and looks great with anything from a suit to jeans and a t-shirt.

Technical & Condition

Condition: Overall the watch is in excellent condition. The dial is largely very clean and has taken on a pleasing subtle patina. It's possible it may have been refinished in the past. The case remains in good vintage condition with expected age related marks.
