An attractive Omega Seamaster Date reference 196.0106 from circa 1977. This Quartz powered vintage Omega was released in Omega's 1977 International Collection and features the well regarded calibre 1342 quartz movement.
With both its understated silver dial and 35mm case in excellent condition, this Omega 196.0106 offers the charm and looks of a vintage watch with the accuracy of a quartz movement.
The reliable and accurate 1342 movement is sometimes referred to as a "traveller" movement, owing to the ability to quickly change the hour hand (it can be adjusted in 1hr steps by pulling the crown out).
Whilst we tend to prefer mechanical movements, when a watch like this comes along its hard to argue with the value position it provides! All in all a beautiful watch in fantastic condition and at an accessible price point!
