An excellent example of the Omega Speedmaster Professional 145.012 - last of the 321 calibre Speedmasters.
Produced from 1967 – 1968 the 145.012 introduced new, taller pushers with models engraved with SP (‘Special Poussoirs’) also offering improved water resistance. During its lifetime the Speedmaster 145.012 also saw a change in the shape of its chronograph seconds hand with the base of the hand changing from a drop to a flat end.
Whilst it may not get as much attention as its predecessors, the Omega Speedmaster 145.012 represents a great choice if you a more reasonably priced Moonwatch, one that not only saw service by numerous astronauts but was also the last Speedie to house the famous 321 calibre.
