The Patek Philippe Calatrava was first introduced in the early 1930s, and its popularity grew steadily throughout the 1930s and 1940s, until it achieved legendary status in the 1960s. The reference 3919 was introduced in 1985 and quickly became one of Patek Philippe's best-selling watches in the 1980s and 1990s. Despite the fact that the reference was eventually discontinued in 2006, it has maintained its legendary reputation as one of Patek Philippe's most timeless wristwatches.

Overall in excellent condition. The case remains in excellent shape with only minor scratches as would be expected for its age. The dial is immaculate and the strap, whilst used, remains very wearable.
