The first Oysterdate was released in 1953, and it was powered by manually wound movements that were not COSC certified. Instead of 'Superlative Chronometer, Officially Certified,' Oysterdate watches were labelled with the word 'Precision' on their dials and sold for less than their companion pieces. Technical & Condition: 

Presented in overall excellent condition. The dial remains very clean with the lume plots having taken on a pleasing yellow tone. The case is in good shape for its age with some scratches commensurate with its age. The bracelet remains in clean order with only light stretch. The movement is clean and running well.
