A stunning example of the highly collectable Universal Geneve Tri-Compax 22250 from circa 1944 featuring a beautiful original dial and fully serviced 481 manual wind movement.
The Universal Geneve Tri-Compax has become increasingly collectable in recent years. Loved for the balance and symmetry of its dial, its capable movement and its place in Universal Geneve's story.
Launched in 1944 at Basel World Fair to coincide with the brand's 50th anniversary, the Tri-Compax built on the base Compax range offering a watch with three complications: moon-phase, calendar and chronograph.
This particular example features an original dial with attractive, even patina. The case is in excellent condition for its age with no major dints or over-polishing. New (reference correct) hands were added at a previous service and the movement has had a full overhaul by our watchmaker.
With original dial examples of the Tri-Compax becoming harder and harder to find, this Universal Geneve Tri-Compax represents a good investment as well as a lovely daily wearer!
